Subhanallah! I’m done with the Bar exam. Just got the letter this week saying I’d passed, Alhamdulillah.
I can’t wait to return to blogging very soon. Ameir is working on a new look for my site, and I’ve got some really great new recipes to share (like Fatimah’s atayef, above!). In the meantime, enjoy my guest posts on HijabMan’s new website!

I just saw the link to your blog on Stephanie’s facebook page. I hope life is going well and I’m glad the bar is over, for you sake. I don’t know if you heard I’m back living in Chapel Hill. I hung out with Doug last week. We discussed a godfather’s reunion. Anyways I’d love to see you and am looking forward to following your future food experiments.
